REQUIRED COMPETENCIESRelevant third level qualification
At least 2 years experience administrative management in developing countriesDemonstrated skills and experience in report writing and financial/budget management
Adaptability for hard living conditions
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIESUniversity or Post University degree in Economics or related subjects
Knowledge of European Union administrative and procurement proceduresDemonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work cooperatively in critical environments
Previous experience in Emergency contexts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
WORK CONTEXTCesvi is now operating in Sri Lanka with 2 expatriates and 1 office in Pottuvil (East Coast) with a post emergency project funded. A new operation in Vavunya (Northern Province) in the zone of crisis is now opening in support to the IDPS located in the camp
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe collaboration will start asap (15th of June)
The duty stations will be Pottuvil (50%) and Vavunya (50%)
The person will respond to the HQs Desk Officer
The person will work under the supervision of the Project Managers based in Pottuvil and Vavunya
Main tasksEnsure the administrative and financial management of Cesvi projects in Sri Lanka
Travel regularly between Vavunya and Pottuvil to assist the expatriate staff in the administrative and financial management of the projects
Prepare the financial reports in line with the deadline required by Donors, HQs, her/his referent
Be the focal point for the administrative and financial issues face to the HQ and to the in-country donors
Draw up the administrative and financial planning with the PM
